The destruction of nature is causing lots of deaths and economic loses, Guterres stated.
Three are the main problems:
CArbon emissions need to be taxed, and trillions of dollar os subside for fossil fiuels and destructive farming must be diverted to green energy and fuel production and people should cut meat consumptoins and use less energy and water. 90% of people on earth live with dirty air.
We need to look beyond Covid 19 pandemic and take conscience of these problem, where still 1 of 6 deaths in the earth is because of pollution.
This is the actual main concern of UN nation Chief. Hope a more sustainable way of life can be lived.
